The Salt Shaker Foundation all started with a cycling team in 2005. We wanted to have a party to celebrate our accomplishments, including 63 riders that joined together to ride in the fight against cancer. This party quickly became our premier fundraiser and now brings over 500 people to PJ Whelihan's each April.

Named "Team Margaritaville or Bust", we've ridden in each of the Philly Livestrong Challenge's, the MS150, the Barbara Cook Run/Ride/Walk and also hold weekly training rides. We’ve averaged over 50 riders annually and have now started teams in the other Livestrong Challenge cities (Austin, previously Seattle and San Jose). We have annually been in the top 2 largest non-corporate teams of all of the Livestrong Challenge teams, which are 10,000 strong in all 4 cities. We've also created a kids bike team, TMOB Jr, with riders from 8 to 15 years old. This was a first for LIVESTRONG.
